Hiding in the Toa Payoh industry park, there was this zi char stall which looked less than appealing. We first saw the kitchen serving these gigantic plates of fried rice. The smell was "attractive" that we must tried it.
All the dishes we ordered were good. Now come to the downside of the stall. Because of its remote location, dinner crowd was smaller than expected. So the owner had no choice but to use frozen fish. Even so, the chef was skilful enough to remove the "frozen" smell and kept them springy.
Hopefully, this would change soon!
